Solubility data of chrysin in different solvents are crucial for theoretical research and industrial application. In this work, the solubility of chrysin in the aqueous mixtures conformed by ethanol and water was assayed over the temperature range of (293.15 to 323.15) K using the ultraviolet spectrophotometric method. The experimental data indicated that the solubility of chrysin in ethanol and water mixtures increases with an enrichment in ethanol concentration and an increase in temperature. The modified Apelblat equation and ?h equation calculated solubility of chrysin exhibited a great fit with the experimental data. The activity coefficients, thermodynamic functions, dissolution enthalpy, and entropy were acquired from the experimental values. The dissolution process of chrysin within studied temperature range was endothermic, and the driving mechanism is the entropy.
