The solubility data of benzyl disulfide were measured using the synthetic method and laser monitoring technique under atmospheric pressure in five solvents (ethanol, n-hexane, ethyl acetate, toluene, and chloroform), with the temperature ranging from (283.45 to 333.15) K. The experimental data in each solvent were fitted by the modified Apelblat equation with good agreement. For all of the experimental solubility data in five solvents, the root-mean-square was less than 0.52 %, whereas the average absolute relative error was less than 2.0 %.
