Physical Properties of Piperazine (PZ) Activated Aqueous Solutions of 2- Amino-2-hydroxymethyl-1, 3-propanediol (AHPD + PZ)

ABSTRACT
Physical properties such as density, viscosity, surface tension and refractive index of Piperazine activated aqueous solutions of 2-amino-2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-propanediol (AHPD) were measured. The experiments covered the piperazine mass fraction of (1.74 to 10.35) mass%. The AHPD concentration was varied from (13 to 25) mass%. These properties were investigated over the temperature range of 303.15 K to 333.15 K and were correlated as a function of temperature. There was a decrease in all measured properties with increasing temperature.
