ABSTRACT
Viscosities of the ternary mixture (hexane + 1,3-dioxolane + 2-butanol) have been measured at atmospheric pressure at 298.15 and 313.15 K. Viscosity deviations for the ternary mixture were calculated from experimental data and fitted by the Cibulka equation. To correlate experimental data of the ternary system, extended Nissan-Grunberg and McAllister equations have been used. The group contribution method proposed by Wu has been used to predict the viscosity of the mixture.
