ABSTRACT
Experimental excess molar enthalpies and excess molar volumes for the ternary system {x1 1,3-dichlorobenzene + x2 benzene + (1-x1-x2) hexane} have been determined at the temperature of 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure. Values of excess molar enthalpies were measured using a Calvet microcalorimeter, and excess molar volumes were determined from the densities of the pure liquids and mixtures, using a vibrating-tube densimeter. In studing the ternary excess enthalpy Several experimental series of measurements were carried out for the ternary compositions resulting from adding hexane to a binary mixture composed of { x1' 1,3-dichlorobenzene + x2' benzene}, where x'2 = 1- x1'. The ternary composition point is then a pseudobinary mixture composed by addition of hexane and the mentioned binary mixture.
