Vapor-Liquid Equilibria for the Binary Mixture alpha-Pinene + Octane

ABSTRACT
Isothermal and isobaric vapor-liquid equilibria (VLE) were measured for the binary mixture alpha-pinene + octane at the temperatures (348.15, 363.15, 383.15) K and at the pressures (26.66, 53.33) kPa with an inclined ebulliometer. The experimental results are analysed using the UNIQUAC equation with temperature-dependent binary parameters with satisfactory results.
