ABSTRACT
The speed of sound in aqueous KCl is measured up to high concentration in the temperature range (273.15 to 338.15) K. The sound speed data are analyzed with the specific ion-interaction theory of Pitzer with an average standard deviation of 0.31 m7s-1 in the temperature range studied.
