ABSTRACT
The solubilities of aminocaproic acid in four mono-solvents (isopropanol, methyl acetate, ethyl acetate and water) and three binary solvents (methanol-water, ethanol-waterdimethylformamidewater) were measured by static analytical method from 283.15 K to 323.15 K at the atmospheric pressure. In mono-solvents, the solubility increases with the increase of the temperature. Also, the solubility of aminocaproic acid in water is much higher than that in other organic solvents. While in binary solvents, the solubility increases with the increase of the temperature and the mole fraction of water. Besides, the solubility data was well correlated by Apelbalt equation, h equation and NRTL equation, the mixing properties of enthalpy, Gibbs energy, entropy have also been discussed.
