ABSTRACT
The equilibrium solubility of 1,5-naphthalenediamine and 1,8-naphthalenediamine in six pure solvents over a temperature range from (273.15 to 313.15) K was determined. Within the investigated temperature range, the solubility data of these two solutes increased with the increasing temperature. The solubility of 1,5-naphthalenediamine in six solvents decrease according to the order: ethyl acetate greater than acetonitrile greater than methanol greater than n-propanol greater than isopropanol greater than toluene; while 1,8-naphthalenediamine obey the following order: ethyl acetate greater than acetonitrile greater than toluene greater than n-propanol greater than isopropanol greater than methanol. Four thermodynamic models were used to correlate the experimental results. The maximum values of root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) and relative average deviation (RAD) obtained by these four equations
