Densities and Speeds of Sound for Sucrose in Aqueous Solutions of Ammonium Phosphate Salts at Different Temperatures through Density and Speed of Sound Measurements

ABSTRACT
Volumetric and acoustic study of sucrose with ammonium phosphate salts viz. ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) and diammonium hydrogen phosphate (DAP) has been done using an oscillating U-tube instrument namely Anton-Paar DSA 5000M. Densities and speeds of sound in aqueous solutions of sucrose and mixed aqueous solutions of (0.0, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5) mol*kg-1 ADP and DAP have been measured at four different temperatures (288.15, 298.15, 308.15, 318.15) K and experimental pressure p = 0.1 MPa. Making use of the density and speed of sound data, the respective apparent molar volume ( V ) and apparent molar isentropic compression ( K ,s ) in aqueous solutions of sucrose and mixed aqueous solutions of ADP and DAP have been determined at the above four temperatures.
