Density and Melting Points for the Binary Mixtures Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) + 1-Ethyl-3-methylimidazolium Acetate and DMSO + Choline Acetate

ABSTRACT
In this work, densities for the systems dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) + choline acetate and DMSO + 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate were measured with a Stabinger densimeter. Density was measured at temperatures T = [293.15, 373.15] K and full composition range when possible. Excess molar volume and excess isobaric expansion coefficients were calculated for the latter system. Excess molar volume was correlated with the Redlich-Kister polynomial equation. Melting points for some mixtures choline acetate + DMSO were also determined.
