Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium for Binary Mixtures of 3-Cyano-1-butene + RS-4-Vinyl-1-cyclohexene, 3-Cyano-1-butene + ZE-1-Cyano-2-butene and RS-4-Vinyl-1-cyclohexene + ZE-1-Cyano-2-butene

ABSTRACT
The isobaric vapor liquid equilibrium data (VLE) of two binary mixtures (2-methyl-3-butenenitrile + RS-4-vinyl-1-cyclohexene) and (2-methyl-3-butenenitrile + ZE-3-pentenenitrile), and the isothermal vapor liquid equilibrium data of (RS-4-vinyl-1-cyclohexene + ZE-3-pentenenitrile) have been determined. These VLE data were checked with both point-to-point test and direct test, and proved to be thermodynamically consistent. Further two local composition models (Wilson and NRTL) were applied to correlate the vapor liquid equilibrium data, and the interaction energy parameters of the models were optimized by least squares. All calculated and experimental values show a very good agreement and consistency. The calculated relative volatilities for the binary mixtures agree well, and strongly indicate that the maximum model uncertainty is in the range of 5%~8%.
