The solubility of 3-pentadecylphenyl acrylate in n-butanol, toluene, acetone, dichloromethane, n-heptane and ethyl acetate were measured at the temperatures ranging from 273.15 K to 297.15 K at atmospheric pressure using a laser detecting system. The solubility data were correlated by the modified Buchowski-Ksiazczak eh equation and Apelblat equation. The calculated results show that the correlation of the modified Apelblat equation has less deviation than that of the eh equation. The dissolution enthalpy and entropy of 3-pentadecylphenyl acrylate were predicted with the solubility data using van't Hoff equation.
