ABSTRACT
Excess molar enthalpies at 303.15 K have been determined for binary liquid mixtures of dibromomethane (CH2Br2) (DBM) with acetonitrile, furan and acetophenone. The excess molar enthalpies for the systems are endothermic for CH2Br2 + acetonitrile, and +furan whereas exothermic for the system CH2Br2 + acetophenone in nature. The excess partial molar enthalpies of the components have also been evaluated. These results indicate the existence of specific interactions between all these components.
