The densities, q of binary mixtures of acetonitrile with methyl acrylate (MA), ethyl acrylate (EA), n-butyl acrylate (n-BA) and t-butyl acrylate (t-BA) over the entire composition range including those of pure liquids, were measured at temperatures (293.15, 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, 313.15, 318.15) K and atmospheric pressure. From the experimental q values, the excess molar volume, VE m, partial molar volumes, Vm;1 and Vm;2, excess partial molar volume, VE m;1 and VE m;2, over the whole composition range, partial molar volumes, V m;1 and V m;2, and excess partial molar volumes, V E m;1 and V E m;2 of the components at infinite dilution were calculated. The variations of these volumetric properties with composition and temperature are discussed in terms of the molecular interactions prevailing in these mixtures. It is observed that the acetonitrile-acrylate interactions in these mixtures follow the order: MA greater than EA greater than n-BA greater than t-BA. The values of VE m have also been analysed by using reduced excess molar volume approach and the results were found in agreement with those from VE m values.
