ABSTRACT
The saturated solubility of CO2 in monoethanolamine (MEA) promoted 2-diethylaminoethanol (DEAE) aqueous solution was investigated at temperatures ranging from (303.2 to 323.2) K. The mass fraction and temperature dependences of the saturated solubility and CO2 loading are illustrated. The viscosities of both CO2-unloaded and CO2-loaded DEAE MEA aqueous solutions were measured and then calculated by using the Weiland equation. The effects of temperature, mass fraction and CO2 loading on viscosities are demonstrated.
