ABSTRACT
Excess molar enthalpies HE m have been measured for liquid N,N-dimethylformamide or N,N-dimethylacetamide + 1,2-dichloroethane, or + 1,4-dichlorobutane, or + 1,6-dichlorohexane at T = 298.15 K and T = 308.15 K and isothermal (vapour + liquid) equilibria (VLE) have been determined for N,N-dimethylformamide or N,N-dimethylacetamide + 1,2-dichloroethane or + 1,4-dichlorobutane at T = 313.15 K and T = 323.15 K. The VLE data have been reduced using the Redlich Kister equation taking into consideration the non-ideality of the vapour phase in terms of second molar virial coefficients.
