ABSTRACT
The excess molar volumes V, isothermal compressibilities k, and thermal expansivities alpha of {(1 - x)H2O+xCH3OH} at T =(298.15 to 523.15) K, at pressures up to 60 MPa and at x=(0.25, 0.50, and 0.75) mole fractions of methanol are reported. These properties are calculated from the experimental densities for the solutions, carried out with a constant volume piezometer over these intervals of state parameters. Calculated excess molar volumes, isothermal compressibilities, and thermal expansivities are tabulated.
