ABSTRACT
Isothermal vapor liquid equilibrium (VLE) measurements for difluoromethane (R32) p trans-1,3,3,3- tetrafluoropropene (R1234ze(E)) binary system were measured using a recirculation analytical apparatus at temperatures from 283.15 K to 323.15 K. Saturated vapor pressures of R32, R134a (1,1,1,2- tetrafluoroethane) and R1234ze(E) were also measured by this apparatus in the same temperature range to confirm the temperature and pressure measurements. The analytical performance of this apparatus was validated by measuring the vapor liquid equilibria of R32 p R134a. The vapor liquid equilibrium data were correlated by Peng-Robinson-Stryjek-Vera (PRSV) equation of state combined with the Wong and Sandler (WS) mixing rule and the non-random two-liquid (NRTL) activity coefficient model.
