ABSTRACT
1-(2-azidoethyl) pyrrolidine (AZEP) was prepared in our laboratory and its density and dynamic viscosity were measured over the temperature range from 273.15 K to 373.15 K. Its vapor pressure were determined in the range of (311.75 to 418.15) K using a dynamic method. The experimental data were analyzed by regression analysis using Origin 8.5 simulation software. The density data were fitted to a first order polynomial and the viscosity data were regressed to the Vogel- Fulcher-Tammann equation. The results of vapor pressure were fitted to Antoine equation and Clapeyron equation. What's more, melting point was measured using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and the melting point was 132.36 C. Flash point was also determined using closed cup flash point tester and the value was 43.9 C.
