New experimentalresultsarereportedforthesolubilityofcarbondioxideinaqueoussolutionsofphe- nol andforthedensityofthecorrespondingliquidsolventmixturesatabout(314,354,and395)Kat pressures betweenabout0.2MPaand9.7MPa.Theexperimentalresultsareevaluatedtodetermine Henry s constantsforcarbondioxide(onthemolalityscale)andthepartialmolarvolumeofcarbon dioxide atinfinitedilutioninsuchsolutionsatthesametemperatures.Furthermore,correlationsare presented thatdescribethenewgassolubilitydataalmostwithinexperimentaluncertainty.
