ABSTRACT
The object of this study is to measure the liquid-liquid equilibrium (LLE) data in fluorous solvent (perfluorohexane and Galden(R) HT-135) mixtures, which are used as environmentally benign reaction solvents.The LLE data of perfluorohexane + n-alkane (C7, C9, and C10) mixtures were measured to determine thephase behavior of perfluorohexane + n-alkane (C6 to C10) mixtures. The LLE for Galden HT-135(R)+ dibutylether/butyl acetate mixtures were measured up to the upper critical solution temperature (UCST). The experimental results for the LLE were represented using the NRTL activity coefficient model.
