ABSTRACT
3,3,3-Tetrafluoroprop-1-ene (R1243zf) is a potential alternative refrigerant, primarily as a component in blends due to its flammability. It likely has a global warming potential of approximately 10 or less. Data already existing in the literature include 39 vapor pressure data, the critical temperature, and critical pressure, all from a single source. In this paper, 83 vapor pressure data for the temperature range from 233.80 to 372.86 K from two different laboratories are presented. These data are regressed using Wagner and extended Antoine correlations and then compared to existing literature data. The normal boiling temperature and critical pressure for R1243zf are estimated to be 247.73 K and 3630.6 kPa, respectively.
