ABSTRACT
Vapor-liquid equilibria and critical loci of binary systems composed of difluoromethane (CH2F2, HFC-32), pentafluoroethane (C2HF5, HFC-125) and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (C2H2F4, HFC-134a) were measured at temperatures ranging from 303.15 to 363.15K and pressures ranging from 0.92 to 4.83MPa. Vapor-liquid equilibria and critical points of the ternary system CH2F2-C2HF5-C2H2F4 were also measured at 3.63, 3.83 and 4.42MPa and temperature ranging from 333.15 to 363.15 K. The Peng-Robinson equation of state without any adjustable parameter (?ij = 0) gave excellent prediction of binary and ternary vapor-liquid equilibria, and critical loci of binary and ternary systems.
