ABSTRACT
Vapor pressure p of LiBr +C2H5OH and LiCl +C2H5OH solutions at T = 298.15 323.15K were reported, osmotic and activity coefficients (o, a) and activity of solvent as have been evaluated. The experiments were carried out for LiBr +C2H5OH solutions in the molality range m= 0.16974 2.81350 mol kg.1 and for LiCl +C2H5OH solutions in the molality range m= 0.17923 3.75911 mol kg.1. The Antoine equation for the empirical description of experimental vapor pressure results and the Pitzer Mayorga model with inclusion of Archer s ionic strength dependence of the third virial coefficient for the correlation of osmotic coefficients was used. The parameters of Archer extended Pitzer Mayorga model were used for evaluation of activity coefficients.
