Activity Coefficient Model: Wilson

The model is described in: G.M. Wilson, J. Am. Chem. Soc., 1964, 86, 127.

GEX/(R ×T) = -x1 ×ln(x1 + a2 ×x2) - x2 ×ln(x2 + a1 ×x1)

Parameters determined in TDE are a1 and a2.

For the symmetric form of the model, a1 = a2.

Temperature dependencies for activity-coefficient model parameters are expressed with: TDE-TSeries1.

annotated equation parameter window showing locations of coefficients used to calculate a_1 and a_2 in table of B_n and E_n under Parameters:. a_n is calculated with a_n = B_n / T + E_n / (T ^ 2), where T is temperature in Kelvin

Details of the model implementation in TDE, including ThermoML-Equation representation are available. (See the ThermoML web site for details of this IUPAC communication standard.)
