Property Name & Phase Formats in TDE

Pure Components

Property Names are written out explicitly, as in this example below for density.
The following list of property phases as they appear in GDC for density

Property Phases are listed below the property name and are interpreted based on their sequence, as follows:

  • L G (T): The property of the LIQUID in equilibrium with its GAS (VAPOR) as a function of temperature T. (In this case, the density of the saturated liquid.)
  • L (T, P): The property of the LIQUID as a function of temperature T and pressure P. (In this case, the density of the single-phase liquid.)
  • G (T, P): The property of the GAS as a function of temperature T and pressure P. (In this case, the density of the single-phase gas.)
  • G L (T): The property of the GAS in equilibrium with its LIQUID as a function of temperature T. (In this case, the density of the saturated gas.)
