Model Fitting Control Center: Adequacy

Adequacy is a function that indicates how well the EOS or other model represents the property, and is calculated as the average squared deviation of the calculated value (with the EOS or model) from the experimental and predicted data multiplied by their statistical weight (as determined by TDE).

Smaller values indicate good representation of the property. Values much greater than 1 indicate relatively poor representation.

Colors ease interpretation. The property line is displayed with 4 possible colors, depending on the Adequacy value.
black if <1, green if < 3, blue if < 30, and red if > 30.
